These charming Enoch-esque, jack-o-lantern familiars are the perfect way to greet the spooky season – or really any season! Each one is wheel-thrown in a brown stoneware, and then carved, sculpted, handled, underglazed, fired, glazed and re-fired to create an individual character mug for your favorite beverage.

You may select to have your mug created smiling or worried expressions, or you can select “Emily’s choice” which gives me a little extra freedom to choose your mug’s expression.

Please note that this is a preorder! By purchasing, you understand that your item must be made individually (thrown, carved, handled, sculpted, fired, underglazed, glazed and then refired) before shipping.
Your item could take 6-8 weeks to arrive – though I’ll try to get them out sooner than that!

Description

All items are handcrafted, and will have some variation. Items may be listed as “small batch” meaning the photographs you see are of a similar, but not the exact, item to what you will receive. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you’d rather select your exact piece, please try to visit me at one of my upcoming art fairs!

Interior glazes of dinnerware are all commercially produced and food-safe. Glazes and clays used on dinnerware are all dishwasher safe and microwave safe, but I always recommend hand-washing your handcrafted dinnerware to prevent knocking or chipping that may otherwise occur in an automatic dishwasher. For best results, please hand wash your pieces carefully and avoid soaking for long periods of time.

Sculptures (non functional ware) are not necessarily dishwasher safe 😊 – please clean sparingly with a delicate touch.
