This historically inspired vase form has been thrown and given two small decorative hand pulled handles, and then sculpted with two small spongey moths. It is a functional vase, but a small area on one handle has a glaze error (a missed spot – pictured!) and so this vase is offered at a discount.

Interior glazes of dinnerware are all commercially produced and food-safe. Glazes and clays used on dinnerware are all dishwasher safe and microwave safe, but I always recommend hand-washing your handcrafted dinnerware to prevent knocking or chipping that may otherwise occur in an automatic dishwasher. For best results, please hand wash your pieces carefully and avoid soaking for long periods of time.
Sculptures (non functional ware) are not necessarily dishwasher safe 😊 – please clean sparingly with a delicate touch.
