These small batch sculptural travel mugs have been thrown, altered, carved and sculpted, and finished with a hand pulled and sculpted handle. They are an alternative to travel mugs with silicone lids, as I am endeavoring to lower my carbon footprint. These pieces hold approximately 16 oz of liquid. Hand crafted and fired to cone 7 oxidation in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Each one is wheel-thrown in a brown stoneware, and then carved, sculpted, handled, underglazed, fired, glazed and re-fired to create an individual character mug for your favorite beverage. You may select to have your mug created smiling or worried expressions, or you can select "Emily's choice" which gives me a little extra freedom to choose your mug's expression. Please note that this is a preorder! By purchasing, you understand that your item must be made individually (thrown, carved, handled, sculpted, fired, underglazed, glazed and then refired) before shipping.
